LA SAMARITAINE: Merchandising Strategy for an Ultra-Trendy Concept Store

It is June 2022 and Margaux Trogneux, the 25-year-old, Senior Merchandising Assistant at la Boutique de Loulou, the ultra-trendy concept store within La Samaritaine Paris Pont Neuf department store is considering the new colourful dramatization of this sales space with great satisfaction. For the summer period, with the help of parasols and deckchairs, the space has been transformed into a seaside resort inspired by the vibrant design of the 1970s. 'Samaritaine Paris-les-Flots' is intended to be an immersive and exotic physical experience, also designed for social networks. However, Margaux does not have the time to enjoy the sun, listen to the cicadas and soak up the fragrance of the hot sand. She must evaluate the effectiveness of her new display of an emerging brand that sells colourful vegetable cookies, and boost the dynamics of this 230 m2 space in order to ensure that customers find what they are looking for and that no one leaves with empty hands!
Objectifs pédagogiques
